	Mr. N.A. Mohammed at a very young age of 18 years set out to achieve his vision. A vision that would breathe life back to "Mother Earth". Provide food and livelihood for many and also to bring them closer to each other. He forayed into road laying, Construction of bridges and irrigation projects. His first major break-through in Karnataka came in 1960 in an irrigation project after which be has never looked back. From its small beginning spanning over 4 decades under the able & dynamic leadership of the visionary Mr. N.A. Mohammed. The Company has grown into a diversified group having interest in Hotels, Real Estate, Plantations, and Travel & Tourism.

	In 1988 he inducted his Son, Mr. N.A. Haris ( A Double Graduate in Political Science & Commerce) as the Managing Director of the Company. Who took charge of the overall operations of the group. A dynamic young man who more then fulfilled the vision of the groups founder & chairman. He also under the guidance of the Chairman ushered the group into 21st century. The group's first diversification was into the hospitality industry, acquired managing interest in "Nalapad's Hotel Broadway," Bangalore 1971. Over the years, added four more hotels to the chain in Bangalore, Mysore, Ooty and Mangalore. The flagship being Nalapad's Hotel Bangalore International. In other areas of diversification the group successfully ventured into " Real Estate Development and Construction " activity and set up several successful Projects in Karnataka. Travel & Tourism, set up Nalapad Tours & Travel, with its own fleet of Luxury cars & buses and domestic as well as International Air Ticketing.
